Choose on of the verbs in parenthesis that makes sense in the sentence. Then conjugate it in the correct form. Here are the conjugations for the -ar, -er, -ir verbs.Write the whole sentence.

El verbo IR.

The verb IR means "to go". It is an irregular verb, because when you conjugate it, the stem (first part of the verb) changes. And it changes A LOT. You can barely recognize it...

The verb ir is followed by A ( to) when you say where you are going

Carlitos va a cine: Carlitos goes to the movies
Yo voy a  la iglesia porque quiero rezar
Tú vas al ( a el )restaurante porque tienes hambre

Where do these people go? Well, depends on what they want to do

1. Yo quiero nadar entonces voy a la piscina

2. Nosotros queremos dormir entonces vamos al hotel

3 Ana y Ricardo quieren comprar zapatos entonces van a la tienda

4. Tú quieres montar en bicicleta entonces vas a la calle

GUSTAR: to like- to be pleasing

The verb gustar is conjugated differently than the other verbs we have studied. It typically does not have the endings -os, -as, -a, -amos, -ais, -an  that the other verbs have.

Me gusta- I like (yo)
Te gusta - You like (tú)
Le gusta- He/she likes (él, ella)

Nos gusta- We like (nosotros)
Les gusta- You like plural, two or more people (ustedes)
Les gusta- they like (ellos, ellas)

You can also express different degrees of liking:
Me encanta- I love
Me gusta-  I like
Me gusta un poco- I like a little
No me gusta- I don't like
No me gusta nada- I don't like at all

However, if what follows the verb is plural, we say Me gustan, Te gustan, Le gustan and so on.
For example
Me gusta la piña - I like pineapple
Me gustan las fresas- I like strawberries

Te gusta el queso? Do you like cheese?
Te gustan las uvas? Do you like grapes?

When you are telling what people like to do, the verb Gustar is followed by the infinitive just as it is in english when you say "I like to sing".
Examples:
Me gusta cantar - I like to sing
Te gusta bailar? Do you like to sing?
Le gusta dormir He/she likes to sleep
